Joy in the Journey Recovery Retreat set for May 15-17
at the Hardtner Camp and Conference Center



    Sponsored by the Diocesan Commission on Addiction and Recovery, the 19th annual Joy in the Journey Recovery Retreat will be held at the Hardtner Camp & Conference Center Friday, May 15 through Sunday May 17, 2009.
   The retreat directors are Father Bernie Flynn and Bishop Bruce MacPherson. Father Bernie Flynn is a nationally know retreat leader, author and speaker, who has conducted many spirituality retreats in this area and around the country. He is a recovering alcoholic who is deeply committed to ministry with persons suffering from addictions. Father Flynn is currently presenter at the University of Utah School of Addiction Studies in Salt Lake City.
The Program Includes: • Conferences on Spirituality • Informal discussion, small group sessions • Fellowship, rest, and wonderful food • Time for prayer, meditation, and reading • Nature walks • 12-step meetings • Holy Eucharist • One-on-one personal sessions with Father Flynn • Beautiful facilities
