"The Mystery of Baptismal Life" is theme of November Spiritual Formation conference at Hardtner


"The Mystery of Baptismal Life" has been chosen as the theme of the annual conference and retreat on spiritual formation to be presented at the Hardtner Camp and Conference Center, November 6-8.

Sponsored by the Diocesan Commission on Spiritual Formation, the presenter will be Brother Thomas Schultz, OHC, a priest and monk, who as a spiritual guide and director, has constantly held up and encouraged others to hold up the light of Christian hope.

Brother Schultz recently celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of his graduation from Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary. In 2006 he received an honorary DD from CDSP. Over the years of his ministry.Brother Schultz has fostered and encouraged multiple generations of people in the life of the Spirit. His hopeful wisdom offers a grace-filled antidote to the prevalence of uncertainty and anxiety of today.

Pre-registration for the conference is requested. The weekend's activities begin Friday afternoon, November 6 with registration, followed by a reception at 6:00 p.m. The weekend concludes at noon on Sunday, November 8.
