Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey to speak at Communion Partners conference

The Most Rev'd and Rt. Honorable Dr. George Carey, 103rd Archbishop of Canterbury is among a list of distinguished guests who will address a two-day conference entitled "Anglicanism: A Gift in Christ," to be held Thursday and Friday, April 16-17 at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas. The conference is jointly sponsored by the Agnlican Communion Institute and Communion Partners Primates, Bishops, and Rectors.

Open to all bishops, clergy, and lay persons, the conference will present opportunities for worship, prayer, fellowship and workshops.

Rev'd Anthony Burton, former Bishop of Saskatchewan and Rector of Church of The Incarnation in Dallas, "Anglican Worship"; The Rev'd Dr. Ephraim Radner, Professor of Historical Theology, Wycliffe College, "Historical Anglican Streams"; The Very Rev'd Dr. Philip Turner, Retired Dean, Berkeley Divinity School, Yale University, "Christian Ethics and Anglicanism"; and Cheryl H. White, Ph.D., Hubert Humphrey Professor of History, Louisiana State University at Shreveport, "Anglican Catholicity."
